Bought to lie on the couch. It's definitely beautiful, nice fringes and design. very soft and feels great. however, it is very easy indeed. You can really see it when it's held. This is equivalent to using a scarf with clothes as a decorative element, not really warming from the cold. It's still a great article. As soon as I unrolled it, one of my dog's claws caught it just a little bit. Although I was looking for something warmer I was unable to return the b/c Driftwood afterwards and am actually glad I kept it. I use it at the end of the bed in the guest room which is gray and white and looks really nice. For some, this is an extra layer when they get cold and the softness is really very comfortable. If it says "lightweight", I would reclassify it as "ultralight".
