As the title says, this case is definitely not for everyone. Right from the start, this case delivers what it promises. It's easy to install, fits snugly, and feels solid. I believe this will definitely protect your MacBook in case of a fall. However, one "feature" of the case really put me off and forced me to send it back, namely the "double-lock closure". For some reason, instead of a locking mechanism in the middle of the case that would spread the tension evenly across the screen, this case has two independent locking mechanisms on the corners of the case, which are also quite difficult to unlock. I've found that every time I open and close my MacBook, I flex my monitor a lot because one corner opens before the other, or one corner closes faster than the other. I just couldn't get over the fact that this repeated stress at the monitor would get me in trouble. I even read a 1 star review that said his entire monitor cracked because of this "double lock". Unfortunately, due to the high level of protection this case offers, it's ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE IT! If you don't want that sleeve to hold your MacBook hostage forever, you'll have to subject it and yourself to a few monitor bends, minor scratches, sore fingers, and bent credit cards to free it. If you don't need this insane protection for your MacBook, I would advise you to reconsider your decision.
