The brackets as you can see in the picture look very nice and work with the existing fans they were installed on. Installation was relatively easy and straightforward and the instructions clear and easy to understand. These were the first lights attached to these fans. However, I've hit a snag. The spacing and size of the leaves were too large for these lights, and the leaves hit the top of the ball. The instructions didn't say anything about fixing this issue, so I had to use my own experience. I went to a local ACE hardware company and bought threaded lamp rod/tube extensions and lengthened the attachment point that screws into the bottom of the fan. wiring box.
