Review on Haoge LUV X54R Protection Multicoated Ultraviolet by Paul Rogger

I was looking for a decent lens hood for my X100V that would complement the style and looks of the camera without sacrificing functionality. The lens hood itself is solid metal and has a nice grip pattern to match the pattern on the camera wheels. The built in UV filter seems to be of good quality, I don't see any noticeable changes in my images so I'll leave it in place for now. I mainly use optical mode when using the viewfinder and have found that some lens hoods block too much of the visible area. This is only slightly more visible in the viewfinder than the lens itself. Other mixes just didn't have a good aesthetic appeal to me. One of the fun things about owning an X100 camera is all the ways you can customize the body to suit your personal style. I wanted this lens hood in silver to match my camera body, but I didn't have that color in stock. I decided to think outside the box a little and just go for this red one. It actually turned out to be a nice addition to my red padded button and bracelet.
