These lights work great! So easy to install compared to traditional can lights. Yes, with them you no longer have to install the body of the glass to install jigs! For glass lighting, you need to install the body of the glass and fix it between the rafters. These lanterns will drive canning lamp manufacturers out of the market. After using them I never look back. Additionally, they are flush-fitted and look modern and updated. You have the option of setting three different lighting modes. However, I strongly recommend using the brightest setting. The reason I say this is because I set them to maximum brightness. The brightest setting is very bright and we liked that. But when we installed Lutron dimmer switches, the brightest setting wasn't as bright. We love the voice control that we have with Lutron, but we were disappointed with the loss of brightness level that we had before installing the Lutron dimmer switches. It's not so much the tapping on those lights as it is the tapping on the Lutron dimmer switches. These lights are amazing and I couldn't be happier. If you've done your homework, you'll find that this deal is exceptional for so many lights in one package. I couldn't reach this price in the big hardware stores. And the quality of each of these lights is really good. If you don't use a Lutron dimmer with these lights, you'll see how bright they are. I'm still happy with them, although not as bright when paired with a Lutron dimmer. I only wish I had seen how bright they could be without a Lutron dimmer. But these lights are great!
