I'll update if that changes. We measured the area 2 inches below the kneecap. We ordered based on this size listed in the questions section above. The first things that immediately caught our eye. It's well done. It wasn't bulky. Came with a compression sleeve and washers. He put it on and was amazed at how comfortable it was. It flexed slightly (we had an issue with the other). He didn't have to adjust it with extra padding as it fit very well. He will use it at work/home until we have surgery. He will also use this after the operation. We were discharged after his other knee surgery which cost three times as much but bothered him as it was closed. The fabric on his back rippled and pressed against the back of his knees. This one with an open concept seems to be much better. It is used for wear/osteoarthritis.
