Tried this product experimentally without much expectation. Smells like a wet tea bag; Not uncomfortable or chemical at all. It helps repel fleas for a while - maybe 30-45 minutes on humans, 30 minutes on our three cats. Here's how we tested them: We have one room that's more flea infested than the rest of the house: a cat room, as expected. So cleaning up must have been the most frustrating thing for us humans while preparing for treatment. So we used a few wipes on exposed areas: outside of shoes, socks, exposed skin above the toe line, arms, hands, neck and face. And more importantly, we used more than one wipe to ensure we were protected. We still had a few bites, but for the most part it really felt like one of those commercials you see on TV where they have a box of mosquitoes or something, then put the product on your hand or something - then come on the processed in the mouth. Box, and beetles avoid it greatly. It's important to note that he didn't kill anything. It's just a repellent. Then we tried it on cats. They don't like it and were itchy a lot at first, I suspect because the fleas were actively trying to get away from the treated areas. But after ten minutes (maybe less) they weren't scratching at all. It took about 30 minutes but we didn't use it, I feel like we did it to ourselves because the cats were reluctant to use it and we didn't want to stress them out any more. We tried the spray but the sound of the spray was like a hiss and they REALLY didn't like it. They didn't fight that bad. Our plan for this is that we treat the house and use flea medicine from the vet. I haven't had them checked out by the vet yet so I'm not sure how what they're giving us is supposed to work or how quickly. While we wait for these treatments to take effect, we will use wipes to supplement these treatments and repel as many fleas as possible trying to escape the fate we have in store for them.
