At first glance. The box was so small that I put it on the floor and shook it vigorously. I thought it was going straight back. It was flat, I felt the ground. The next day he seemed to have gained a little weight. I shook it out but threw it on a chair, not the bed. I've really thought about sending it back. The next day he was a little fatter. I decided to give it a try, thinking it was just a cover, not a mattress topper. It turns out to be really convenient. This is enough to not feel the patterns on your mattress. He doesn't move when I cover him with sheets. i really love it I suppose you could sleep on it, it's really soft and silky. As for cooking, it doesn't mean anything to me, I'm very hot-tempered. Considering all the circumstances, I will say again that this is not a mattress topper, it is a mattress. cover/protection.
