I just got my ASTRO A40 for PS4, might use it for PS5 too. The headset is a good weight and the quality seems better than any other headset I've bought. Also very comfortable. However, there are two problems for which I cannot find a solution. Firstly, I always leave my headset plugged into the controller after I'm done playing and when I turn on my Ps4 for the next session, the mic doesn't work. I have to unplug and plug my mic back in every time I log into my PS4 for it to work. It's a minor inconvenience, but I feel like paying that much for a headset shouldn't be a problem to begin with. I don't know if this is just a small defect in my custom headset. I've had this $20 Turtlebeach headset for years and never had this problem. I only changed it because I was careless and my wire got cut. The second problem is that there is no way to increase or decrease the volume of my game in the headset. Most headsets have this option and I was surprised ASTRO didn't add it to the mute/unmute box for this model.
