Good durable socks made from 100% synthetic materials. I wanted cotton free socks to stay drier in hot weather and my local store was no longer selling what I used to buy. The large ones are perfect for my 11.5 (43) but I don't think they will fit a larger foot as there is no extra length left. I had my doubts about the price but the synthetic compound should make them more durable to justify your money. The only negative is that they are not as thick as I thought thick socks should be compared to other full sized travel socks I have such as SmartWool.
