Review on 1998-2006 Mitsubishi Montero / Montero Sport Key Fob Remote - E4EG8D-522M-A by Aaron Gonzales

I really want these "car" companies to fix their models. Again, another company seems to have decided that the Montero Sport is just a trim level of the Montero, when in fact it's a completely different car. I've found some programming instructions elsewhere for the Montero Sport that should make it work (even the model number matches an existing one that was bitten by a dog), but the car just won't go into programming mode no matter how many times we do try this or this procedure. Could try the dealer, but then I'd have to pay $80 to program something that requires user programming when I could only get 2 with dealer programming for $99. Disappointing.
