I ordered this because my son needed my laptop backpack for distance learning and traveling back and forth with the computer. This is a nice computer backpack and it's quite large, but it's designed for a 17" laptop, not a 15" laptop. to travel. As a mother I need a certain amount of space when traveling with my son and when you are on a plane a laptop case counts as one item. But because it's so big you can pack so many extras, there are things that give you more space for your carry-on. There are two large pockets on the front, one with a zipper and the top one with Velcro. There are two side ones Zippered pockets that have mesh inside. There is a huge pocket on the back that takes up most of the back and has a button to fasten it. There is a belt you can wear there or just slip it in and use the backpack straps. These straps can also be detached from the bottom of the bag to hide inside if you just want to carry it around and don't have a backpack option. After tightening the straps, the risers were incredibly long and dangled loosely since I'm smaller. I just rolled them up and tied them with a black ribbon. There are zippers on each side, thanks to which you can make this bag even bigger. I'm telling you, it's amazing for people who need extra space when traveling! Inside there is plenty of space for everything you need and two pockets. When you close the top of the bag, there are buttons on each side that you can close to tuck in the zipper part and make it more secure. Finally, there are two additional clip straps that you attach to fold the canopy all the way down, making it extremely secure. You simply tighten the straps to make the pleat fall beautifully. Nobody can come in here. When the bag is fully attached at the top and turned upside down, it doesn't look as big and seems about the same size as another laptop bag I have. When you don't need those extra security features, you simply have more room in your pocket. The added security features and thoughtful design of this part and the entire bag are high quality. The zippers are also of high quality and the material is very soft and silky. It's just first class and I recommend it.
