8/30/19 Update: Returned the first bag due to a problem with the shoulder strap buckle. Today I received a replacement bag and the lock has the same problem. I spoke to the manufacturer, PacSafe, and they said you don't need an object to insert the pin to pick the lock. Would have been a solid 5 stars if the shoulder strap buckle worked. The twist lock on the shoulder strap will not unlock (the tongue will not retract) unless you press on it with a sharp object. I wouldn't normally worry about unlatching the shoulder strap, but we camp in a high pickpocketing area and would like to clip it to a chair while eating. For its size, this bag fits a lot - headphones, a water bottle, a travel pillow, maps, passports, credit cards, and even room for snacks.
