Review on Under Cabinet Lighting Designer Deluxe Lighting & Ceiling Fans and Wall Lights by Joseph Mathis

Installed end product looks fantastic. I checked out several other LED lighting sets and many of them looked so harsh with harsh shadows on the walls. This product looks amazing and I think the ambient lighting looks really good accenting the backsplash and counter evenly without drastic shadow changes. It has a solid finish that I'm happy with. The included cable holders were a good thing for keeping things tidy. Overall, I'm quite glad I spent the extra on the Designer line. The included dimmer works well and was good as part of this package so there is no need to purchase it separately. I'd love to give it 5 stars, but a couple of things I'll outline made me snap a point. I ordered additional cables that were shorter. I wish it had a few smaller ones (1ft) to hook up. Longer is better than shorter I think, but I didn't want to splice wires or attach too much. The extra connecting wires were a little pricey for a single cable when it could easily have come with shorter ones, say 5 1ft 5 4in I think, especially for the price. The tape on the zip ties held up well, but the headlights didn't hold up and it helped to temporarily position the headlights until I screwed them in, which was nice The headlight connectors were pretty flimsy. When I plugged it in, it only lit up when the cord was placed a certain way. The cable was slightly kinked and the solder joint appeared to be broken and no longer lit up. I ended up placing this light at the end of the chain. So it didn't matter and it's a permanent install so hopefully nothing moves on the connectors after installation, but the single light connector still seemed a little flimsy. Overall I am happy with the purchase and love the result. The end result is fantastic.
