As others have said, pump to get stuff where it needs to go, as other reviewers said sticky pump, but I was looking for the first downside, the pump lock that rotates 240% , and mine was so sticky too. I played around with it a bit and got a can of WD 40 for the parts that stick and voila works like a dream. slightly better, but not sticky. I love that the material holds up well when we had tropical storm Imelda and a lot of rain, when it passed I reapplied it and it looks just as good as the first time. Good product.
