I originally bought a 6 foot tall tree to put on the covered porch, but it ended up in the TV room because I didn't think this little tree would hold up in the wind. basic, but the lower tier didn't feel solid in the stand no matter how many times I adjusted the screws. I fluffed and adjusted each branch, but there was definitely something wrong with the top level. The taper between the middle tier and the treetop did not match as the branches on the upper tier were longer and sparser. No matter how I moved or bent the branches, the makers seemed to have packed the wrong top of the tree. My friend told me to just add lights and stuff, which I did. I was determined to get it working because I had already spent so much time churning. I placed the burlap to hide the odd gaps and the embellishments are great fillers throughout. I also made a tree collar by covering a cardboard box with faux wood contact paper. The tree sometimes leans forward or sideways when my dog approaches, but it's easy enough to gently push it back into place because it's so light. This is a good budget tree but definitely requires patience and time. This won't replace my large tree but I will keep it for smaller spaces as it has potential.
