Cholinergic Urticaria - If You Struggle With It, Try This Deodorant!

So this review will be updated over time, but I wanted to leave a few things for now. A little background story. I've always used drugstore deodorants with chemical fillers. I had heard of chemical-free deodorants but never saw a reason to switch to them. I felt that I would not benefit from chemical-laden deodorants, nor would I experience any negative health effects. Just recently, someone brought up this issue, which I've been dealing with for a number of years, possibly related to my choice of deodorant. About 4 years ago I was in the shower, the water temperature was hot, and out of nowhere I collapsed head to toe into this insanely itchy, tall hive. The scars were the size of a pea, while others were the size of boots. And when I speak head to toe, I speak literally. I took Benadryl and went to bed (really dumb don't do that if this happens to you go to the doctor!) The next one happened I would say 6 months later. It was cold outside, for some time the temperature inside the building was normal, I would even say a bit warm. I drank coffee and went outside. To give you an idea, I was in Philadelphia in November, so it's pretty cold. After about 10 minutes I started throwing up again. Same song, same story. This happened again just a year later. And just last year it happened so often that it actually affected my daily life. Through my own research on the internet, I found that I can't sweat. My body heats up and for everyone else you start sweating to cool off. This is normal everyday life for humans. Once my body temperature reaches a certain temperature, instead of sweating, I get a rash. So if I want to go for a walk or go to the gym, I have to wear a special belt that constrains/helps my body. sweat body. Basically, I had to avoid any other situation that would raise my body temperature. Until recently, when my boyfriend's mom asked me what type of deodorant I use and then suggested I use a 100% natural, chemical-free deodorant. We've been using it for about two weeks now. I have not yet put myself in a situation to sweat intentionally as the experience of hives is absolutely uncomfortable, painful and exhausting. But I've found that I'm sweating 10 times more than usual in the gym with my belt on. Now my face is dripping, my shirt is soaked, I look like I just ran a 100k marathon in the desert . And what made me write this review right now is the fact that I'm sitting in a warm office at work and my armpits are sweaty. I can't remember the last time I broke out in a sweat. Terrible, I know, but literally over the moon. In due course I will update the information and let you know if I ever break out of the hive again. Try it. The smell of white whisper is refreshing. Even though I'm sitting here with sweat pits, it still smells good. Update: Cholinergic Urticaria is the official name for what I've been dealing with. Two weeks have passed since my first review. I'm honestly very happy with this deodorant. I believe this part will apply to anyone new to aluminum-free deodorant. I went through a "sweat detox" when I was just sweating. Now it has stopped and I'm just sweating like a normal person. I even change my body wash and don't want to put anything on my body that could cause the problem to come back. I'm so glad I found the solution. I am so thankful natural deodorants exist.
