I have no idea if this product works or not. My complaint is that the kit did not come with installation instructions. The original manuals of the generator also do not explain the installation. There is a video on youtube but it is vague about the connections in the electrical box. install it. The problem is that we don't have an authorized service center in our area and it costs over $150 to call an authorized service center. At the very least, Generac could do better with a guide for a very expensive accessory said to cost half as much. A licensed electrician will make all the connections between my main box and the transfer case. He checked that all voltages were within specifications. Generac is leaving a lot of money on the table by not having a budget-friendly annual maintenance plan.
