I took this bag as hand luggage on my first flight and was not disappointed. It was big enough for a full size 17 inch gaming laptop plus all my clothes and accessories. Carries well as a backpack and despite my frantic sprint through the Detroit McNamara terminal to catch my connecting flight because my plane was late, it never lost its balance with the shoulder straps and waist belt. without shortcomings. The buckles feel flimsy and the zippers seem to snag and snag easily, although opening and trying again usually resolves this issue. Also, the front organization flap only closes with a 1/3 zipper, making some pockets difficult, but not impossible, to use. All in all it's not the best bag you can get I'm sure but it works. It is spacious enough for a long trip (6 days in my case). It's comfortable enough that you can wear it for a long period of time if necessary and it fits and rides well enough to run on your back if necessary. I would buy it again without hesitation if needed.
