UPDATE Having owned this memory foam topper for about a year, I have to go back and tell the world this thing doesn't chill you any more than a regular memory foam mattress. Cooling gel is nonsense. Both my fiancee and I wake up drenched in sweat every night. We literally need a fan to blow under the covers because shedding the covers isn't enough to keep you cool unless your room is already very cold. The moment I lay down on this pillow, I sink into it, which sounds good at first (and that's in testing), but eventually your back and neck start to hurt because you don't have support. Because you sink so deep into it, most of your body "sinks" in and is almost wrapped in memory foam (memory foam that doesn't breathe at all), so it's like one of those old garbage-bag tracksuits, Missy Elliot's to be carried. . The moment I lay down on this pad, I immediately feel my skin getting hot on contact with it. It takes almost no time. I even tried buying a bamboo fluff mattress topper to create air gaps between us and the memory foam, but that didn't help much (although it did make it a little less hot and miserable, but still hot). and yet a pity). But it's always been warmer and I'm the type of person who has to sleep with a fan on or I get too hot. I recently got a new duvet and it was much warmer. in the heat of the middle of the night. Wake up drenched in sweat. So I decided it was time for an update as the topper was always getting hot anyway. I bought this 4 inch topper for its thickness and cooling properties and let me tell you. One night and what's the difference. We both slept very well. Perfect temperature and person, this thing is thick and really comfortable. A whole different bed with this thing! I read so many reviews and thought people exaggerated the benefits. They really weren't. It's as good as people say it is. I haven't slept in a well like this in a long time! Best $100 I've Spent in a Long Time! I would say this is the best value if you have trouble sleeping. It only took about 6 hours to fully expand and less than 24 hours to fully expand. I recommend opening the packaging and laying it out on your bed and pointing some fans at it for good air circulation to help it expand and disperse the smell. if you think about it Stop and just buy! You will not regret it!
