It's a lot more subtle than it looks. Mine was less than 3mm thick. The edges are a bit sharp and bevels on the edges are useless due to the thinness of the device. Graston tools typically have a chamfer that can be used at an angle of around 45 degrees. It will not work on this device. You're pretty much limited to one surface, and that surface is noticeably sharp. Some people will like this for specific skin cleansing operations, but for general facial and deep tissue cleansing this is not optimal. The price is great, but unfortunately you get a much cheaper and less well thought-out device. One review said the edges were nice and rounded. It wasn't mine! The photo is difficult to see, but they are clearer. And that slightly sharp edge is all you have to work with. I've attached a photo where I tried to isolate the edge between the nails.
