My daughter is almost 8 and we have started taking sizes up to a 9/10 which is usually a bit big for her. This size 9/10 dress runs small, especially the elastic around the stomach. We didn't go back and increased the size because we booked a special event that required her to wear orange. She said she felt a little looser when dressing and liked how soft the fabric was.
