These bulbs seem fine, no start lag and no flickering (I use them without a dimmer). The only thing that surprised me was the brightness, which is lower than I expected from a 60w lamp. I replaced two 30w daylight fluorescent bulbs (60w total) with 3 new LED bulbs (equivalent to 180w total) and found that the light intensity was lower than before. I'm not sure if the nominal light output (800 lumens per bulb) is a bit optimistic or if the perceived lower intensity is due to the color temperature of the bulb (3000K) I chose for this bathroom fixture. Maybe my eyes are less sensitive to the new spectrum of light from the new bulbs?
