This mat has a somewhat firm cushion which is great when standing in one spot for a while. The only place I do this at home is in my garage, where I sometimes spend hours working in one place on various projects. This mat is big enough to stand on and move side to side a little bit, but it's relatively small compared to my workbench so I've had to adapt to that to avoid stepping off of it accidently.After using this for the past week, I noticed a definite difference. Less fatigue, and I can stand for a lot longer before needing to sit down. The quality of this mat is very good, similar to commercial mats I've used in the past. I was working under my car yesterday and I found another use for this mat. It allowed me to lay on my concrete floor without using a creeper which raises me up too high and is more of a hassle than a help on a lower vehicle. When I was done, I just slid it back into position next to my workbench. The mat wipes down easily with soap and water when dirty or just a shop rag when dusty.This would work well for people who use a standing desk to work. It's small enough to fit in front of most standing desks and looks nice enough to have in your house. Works fine with or without shoes on.
