The device, on the whole, meets my expectations, and I have no complaints. A digital Sony Alpha NEX-5 would be a decent alternative to consider for the sum of money. Do not look in a mirror; nonetheless, the matrix remains the same. The Canon 550d is an additional ten dollars more expensive, and it just includes a motor and a rotating screen in the gadget. There does not appear to be any other benefit to it. Many advantages: a decent camera for someone just starting out. Before there was a soap dish there, I believed it would be hard to shoot a photo via the viewfinder, but now that there isn't one, I can. Despite the presence of a live view mode, I was unable to take a picture that was worth keeping using the screen, even though the device has one. I used the device for about two months. When the temperature is warm, a good battery can keep its charge for an entire day of use. Even at ISO1600, there was a level of noise that was tolerable in my opinion. When compared to a soap dish, the color rendition is nothing short of incredible. The hues are vibrant and completely saturated. Even when set to auto mode, the camera captures very high-quality images. despite its advantages. I didn't particularly care for the whale lens, and there wasn't always enough zoom. These are just a few of the issues I ran into while using the camera. The screen isn't as good as the one on the Canon 450D, which is saying something. The lens does not lend itself very well to the creation of macro photographs. I've noticed that the focus is captured much more closely by the Lumix soap dish for the 4500. =)
