Donuts become a sweaty mess. Overnight the glaze will dissolve, the crystalline sugar will melt, the melted sugar will melt. The donuts are still soft, but what's the use if all the sweetness on the outside is melted because the inside of the storage container is too wet? Bought two of these to save a dozen at a time. Should have just bought 1 to see how it went.
