I've been using the original steering wheel that came with the Xbox One ThrustMaster for about two years and have had my eye on this 599XX EVO steering wheel ever since. I always felt like something was missing and two years later I finally found it! If you are looking for a real simulator then this is a must! The larger rim size makes all the difference, it's actually amazing how MUCH BETTER it's gotten with just a small increase! My biggest criticism of my original TustMaster steering wheel is that it feels like a toy, the small size combined with the cheap plastic feel took away my experience. My hands constantly bumped into each other under stressful circumstances and I regularly banged my finger on the paddles, which made me realize how tiny and unrealistic the wheel was. I was always skeptical because of the price but now that I have to use it it's really worth every penny, it's 10x more enjoyable than my old one and the ALCANTARA feels AMAZING and makes all the difference when it comes to it going to put you in the driver's seat. I used to feel like I was in a toy car, now with this 599XX steering wheel I feel like I'm touching a real steering wheel and it honestly makes for a much better simulation experience. The buttons are also more comfortable to press as they have a 'softer' feel and the grip on the steering wheel feels like it's just going to take the shape of your hand, it really is something special. I can only imagine what a real 599XX handlebar must feel like.
