This is by far the BEST and most BEAUTIFUL duvet set I have ever had, and yet I don't have to pay more than $500. It is extremely elegant and immediately enhances the room visually and haptically. I made it even fancier by adding four extra contrast pillows. I feel like a princess or queen in my bed. In fact, I may have to remodel the entire house to fit this new standard. (Just kidding) This bedding is a DREAM - no pun intended. I love it. It goes really well with the mahogany furniture and purple walls in the bedroom, although I'm considering a repaint. A ceiling fan hangs over my bed; but if they weren't I would consider replacing the light fixture with a crystal chandelier or something glassy and beautiful. This is a truly amazing set and the quality is superb. The entire set is factory embroidered or woven like a tapestry. This is not a print. Due to the thin weave and/or thread design, you must take extra care not to snag or pull. This means that there should be no sharp or rough objects on the bed. I'm even careful with my jewelry and nails because I don't want to damage this beautiful ceiling. I am impressed with the quality and the attention to detail. The fabric feels like silk. If you buy it you will be delighted - unless you like to take care of beautiful things. This bed set is VERY GOOD.
