seal fits perfectly! The material is thicker than expected which is good, it offers a better seal. I replaced this gasket because I noticed it was leaking a bit when I changed the headlights and brake lights to LED bulbs. The seal was 12 years old and had yet to be replaced. If your high mount 3rd brake light / car is old or is removed and reinstalled without changing the gasket I would definitely replace it. I ordered 2 so I have a spare. Cheaper than a new blanket. Be sure to clean the vehicle and headlamp housing with alcohol on the mating surfaces to maximize adhesion.
