stand arrived well packaged. The design consists of four circles that connect in the middle and looks very attractive. Circles traditionally symbolize integrity and are a good shape for our kitchen. The stand is heavy, made of cast iron and suitable for pots and plates of all sizes. It comes with 4 heavy duty rubber feet that should stay in place for some time. In case it doesn't, two additional rubber feet are included to keep them handy. I personally like to have a little support for my legs. The stand protects your countertop, tables, etc. from scratches during use. As for the metal ring hanger, I'll skip it, it doesn't feel heavy enough to hang a heavy stand on. A good product.
