I love hydroflasks let me start with that. This is probably the sixth hydro bottle in our house. But you can't use a straw with this new top! I'm a big coffee drinker and I drink coffee through a straw to avoid getting my teeth dirty. You cannot insert a straw with this new top. You turn it to the left and now you can drink. There is no direct hole in the cup. So if you don't use straws, you're fine. walk. The bottle is still well made and will keep your drink hot or cold with no problem. These are undoubtedly the best. This new lid just doesn't suit me. I just bought another flip top separately and am now excited to be using my coffee straws again.
