I bought this belt as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend. He really needed a new belt, and he really wanted a cool looking belt. This one is super cool and durable enough to wear every day, which it's been doing since February. The skin is thick and strong but not tough; All metal embellishments are securely fastened with rivets, so they won't be lost easily. Unlike many belts in this price range and above, particularly the embellished, "trendy" varieties, the buckle is detachable, allowing the wearer to add a belt of their choice. Even if you can find an embellished leather belt with a detachable buckle, the buttons will almost certainly make things easier. This strap has two Chicago screws on the end of the buckle which are MUCH more secure than snaps and easy to replace. In the unlikely event that the screw is lost, the belt will not be lost! Even an extra one is included, as well as a small screwdriver to install it. There's even a leather hole punch that allows you to quickly and easily make additional holes that are identical in size and shape to the others. We each twisted a knife, sharp knife, scissor blade, etc. to make a new hole in the belt. Arm cramps go away - unlike the jagged, mismatched hole of despair in your belt! That's a very, very good belt! The materials and construction are excellent; It looks cool, is durable and built to last. With proper care, there's no reason this belt couldn't last a lifetime. The quality is orders of magnitude higher than what you could ever find in a belt at this price point. This is incredible value for money! Appearance and packaging are better than luxury brands. It comes in a sturdy box and is packed in an inner drawstring pouch, perfect for storing the above gear, the included instruction manual or any other small items you don't want loosely rolling around in dresser drawers. .
