Review on 📚 FURINNO Moretti Modern Wide Stackable Shelf: The Perfect Columbia Walnut Storage Solution by Brenda Black

The instructions that come with this set are not very good. They didn't provide good enough diagrams to show which way the parts went, so I had to move things around me to figure it out. I tried to follow the instructions but it was one of those scenarios where here are 8 pieces that all fit together in the first step instead of just giving you game by game. I agreed with the leaf and ended up having to take mine off completely as something wasn't even or properly aligned. I waited to put the screws in, but that didn't help. One of the shelves is gone. I actually took a laser level and measured it. It will deviate by approximately 3mm, resulting in the entire shelf piece not fitting together properly. To try and combat this I used poles for the shelves to rest on and attached them to the shelves prior to assembly. This allowed me to actually assemble the shelf without hammering or drilling a new hole, but now there's a gap in one corner. It still works but the shelves aren't tight due to the gap and none of the shelves are flush with the slats no matter what I try. Also, the two screw holes were not riveted. or they are naked. I ended up using slightly longer screws from my own case to fix this. Seems to be set correctly. My 10kg house cat loves to stand high on the top shelf. I'm just disappointed. I may have received a piece that was drilled incorrectly, but I found it frustrating having to assemble it twice trying to figure it out. I double checked it with tools so I knew it was indeed drilled in the wrong place. I had to ask my spouse to help me assemble it and I didn't like getting together. I would not recommend this one. There are lighter parts at a better price. It's also worth noting that it was covered in dust. I don't know if it's due to storage or because the parts are cut from the pressed plate. Four stars for construction.
