Minimal, great quality, wide calf boots
Got these through a different retailer whose website is terrible so I'm leaving a review here.My calves measure 16-17" at their widest point and these boots fit beautifully. If your calves are much wider, I'm not sure these will work.I wear size 9-10 depending on manufacturer. I ordered a 9.5 and they're pretty perfect. I could wear wool socks with these and they'd be snug, but since they're leather, they'll wear in over time. Sometimes I need a wide foot bed, but these are not too narrow.Anyway here are all the things I love about these boots, and had been hunting for:LeatherWide calf without excessive elasticPractical heelDecent treadWeather resistantMinimal embellishmentRemovable insoleI just got these in the mail today but I'm hoping they'll last many winters with good care.
