My grandchildren are very picky about their shoes and this year they have changed quite a few pairs from other brands. This is the prettiest couple and looks set to last the rest of the school year. The sole is big and thick so my grandson doesn't wear holes in the sole. He likes that it makes him taller. :) Velcro is great for those just learning how to tie shoelaces. And the light blue is a nice contrast to the grey. My grandson gave them two thumbs up and said they looked "super cool". Really big praise! They are true to size and we ordered a size up so he won't pinch his fingers in a few months when he grows back. Luckily they hold securely and don't slip or cause blisters, even if they're too big. These are keepers and we will be buying from this company again for the next size up!
