Oy - very confused in evaluating

In my job I usually have to have privacy screens on tablets, phones and laptops due to HIPAA. I want this product to be liked, but there are a few disappointments that I'm concerned about. First let me point out that ALL screen protectors interfere with the visibility of light - this is a physics issue. I never reduce visibility by dimming as there will always be some level of it. This privacy filter is slightly different as it only uses glue around the edges and does not apply a layer of glue to the entire filter. In fact, the benefit of "anti-bubble" is that it raises the filter above the screen. This makes it easy to remove and apply, only the edges attach the film to your device. I've seen it with other monitor or tablet privacy filters to *add* four-way protection. Unfortunately, this privacy filter only works when the iPad is placed horizontally and protects from the right/left, not from above and below. That means if you're sitting on a plane and reading your iPad in portrait mode, you don't have side protection. . While it's easy to remove, I don't know if it's necessarily reusable. I like the matte anti-reflective finish - it also works great with a pencil and adds a bit more drag to approximate the feel of paper. That being said, I think I'll consider another version that's all glass (I find glass privacy filters are better for viewing) and fully adherent. If you need some sort of detachable form and you mostly work in landscape mode, this might work for you. I would suggest keeping the included plastic backing so you have room to store without ruining the sticky edges for reapplying.
