These Teetherpop bibs are fairly durable bibs for beginners. They're easy to clean - just rinse off any solids and throw them in the washing machine! - and made with durable stitches that will stand up to a heavy wash or a child's frustration. Each bib is much less bulky than silicone and blocks liquids and stains much more effectively than cotton. Our only real complaint came from the reporting. At 13 months, our daughter eats sloppily but loves to eat. Teetherpop bibs are a little short for them, with a pocket near the chest. He picks up a lot of food, which she drops, but because the bag is so high, some pieces still fall on her stomach and knees. But that wouldn't be a problem for the first few months, so I'd still recommend them for small and medium-sized kids.
