I have VERY sensitive, acne-prone, dry skin. I find it incredibly difficult to find products that work for my skin because I'm prone to irritation which leads to acne or they just don't moisturize me enough which leads to irritation and acne. This is a vicious circle. I've been looking for a deep-acting moisturizer that works in my daily skincare routine for at least a year. Even the Cetaphil Rich Hydrating Face Cream burned my skin half the time. I was so upset because what would you do if even the most basic skincare brand known for its simplicity and gentleness burns your skin? I am so thankful that I found this brand. I tried their Essence Toner for the first time and loved it, so I decided to give this intensive repair cream a try. This product is intensely moisturizing and doesn't feel heavy on my skin at all. It absorbs so well and keeps my skin hydrated for 12 hours or more. One of my favorite things is that it's completely fragrance-free. I paired this cream with either a hyaluronic acid serum (from The Ordinary or Good Molecules) or a hydrating gel cream (my favorite is Goodal Calming Cream). I feel like the Pyunkang Yul Repair Cream *really* sinks in this way, and it also thins the cream down a bit on days when I feel like my skin needs a lighter yet effective moisturizer. I love this brand very much. Two products I've tried have become part of my morning and evening skincare routine. I feel like they are the secret weapon to keeping my skin soothed, clear and hydrated. Not to mention the packaging of this product is beautiful. This cream is packaged in a nice heavy glass jar and the box looks very nice and high quality. Most importantly, the products feel luxurious even on the skin. To be honest I'm afraid to recommend these products to others because I don't want them to be in high demand! lol But, if you have sensitive skin or are looking for effective and simple skincare that isn't bad, Pyunkang Yul will be God's message.
