Soft and comfy, but a pouch is a MUST! NOT really waterproof

I loved this product until it got dirty and I realized the stain couldn't be removed. The small holes in a "waterproof" changing pad make it impossible to clean completely as liquids can actually get into the holes. So when it really got dirty with baby poo I threw it away. HOWEVER, I bought a replacement and started using muslin fabrics as replacement pillowcases and has been fine ever since. It is very soft and comfortable for baby.
