I bought this lavender jewelry box to use for storage of trinkets while traveling. There is plenty of storage for all sorts of jewelry items, spaces for everything from rings to watches. The box looks as pictured, with removable drawers and even a mirror attached to the top. The construction of the box itself feels like it is made of some sort of lightweight composite material, perhaps cardboard, covered in a softly padded, lavender colored imitation leather.While there is a latch on the lid, there is no lock on it, and it does not always stay closed when lifted by the handle. Thankfully, the product comes with a drawstring cloth storage bag, which keeps any loose items which fall out from getting lost.For a cute decorate table top trinket box, its quite functional. I would not recommend using this as a jewelry luggage box though, due to the latch problem.
