I like the concept of how this device works, but it has many problems.

This device annoys me - there are several big problems with it, for example, the multi-touch function on the touchpad does not work very well, the operation of the shift keys is not intuitive and hardly works 95% of the time and the keys the keyboard doesn't work half the time. Almost every time I swipe down on a page with two fingers, it's so sensitive that it resizes the page instead, and it's not just because I have fat fingersโ€”both my kids have the same problem when using the device. You can "obviously" change the sensitivity settings, but every time I follow the instructions it makes no noticeable difference in how it works. Press Shift and the key you want to capitalize AT THE SAME TIME, otherwise it won't work. You can't press Shift and then press the key you want to capitalize with, only lowercase letters will be added. It's so embarrassing that this keyboard has to capitalize it might work 1 time out of 10. It's so bad that I've never been able to successfully enter my Chromebox login password with this keyboard. My daughter, who seems to be able to use this keyboard better than anyone else in our house, used it to log into my computer PERHAPS 2 times. I just don't understand why they couldn't set this keyboard to capitalize like a normal keyboard because the way it's done with this device sucks. Last but not least, the keyboard is patchy at best. how responsive it is. About 1 in 3 times I can type normally on this keyboard and when all the keys work it's admittedly very responsive and very easy to type on. The rest of the time not so much - some keys, such as the "n" key, just don't work 2 out of 3 times I use them. Again, it's not like I'm hacking away at my typing skills because when this happens I often give the device to one of my kids to try and they have the exact same issues. I really want this device to be liked, but the way some of the above features work makes it almost unusable. And I've tried a lot of things - I've always made sure it's fully charged, I've even plugged the RF keyboard dongle onto a small USB extension cable, placing it just below my screen so it has a clean line . look at the keyboard. When I use it, I'm usually 5-10 feet from the key, and I've made sure my fingers don't get in the way of the face of the keyboard while I'm typing, as I've noticed when you have part of your hand over it on the front of the device affects how the device interacts with its RF dongle. Nothing works - this keyboard still sucks. I've even considered turning off other RF dongles connected to my computer to see if RF interference from other connected devices is causing it to become unstable, and it doesn't matter. I don't want to overdo it with negative reviews, but this thing just doesn't work - half the time I can't even use it as a backup when my kids run out of battery on my other wireless keyboard. I'll say this: if you use the touchpad feature and not multitouch, it works great - very responsive, always works. everything else just stinks of it. Often times I will use this for mouse control when using another keyboard as the touchpad is better than the touchpad on my other keyboard in this regard. But that's really the only good thing I can say about him. The fact that the touchpad works so well is the main reason I gave it 2 stars and it would have been a 1 if the touchpad didn't work so damn well.
