This is the first time I've found a really durable liner made out of very thick material so don't worry it doesn't have magnets on the bottom as it stays in place. a seam at the bottom or sides to "possibly" go moldy. All edges are straight cut edges only. area, making it more spacious. However, for those of you who are sensitive, be aware that this does give off an odor*** I am very sensitive to chemical smells, but my husband didn't notice any smell, you understand. Not having a place to put it to "blow it out" for a few days, after hanging it that night I used a small fan blown through an open window. (fortunately it's summer now). The next morning the smell wasn't as bad, but then I remembered one of those helpful tips and put a cotton swab treated with citronella essential oil on a nearby shelf to purify the air and it REALLY worked . The next morning I was able to turn off the fan. Also, when the package was opened there was a fine white powdery substance on the outside of the curtain which can easily be wiped off with a damp cloth (I thought maybe it was applied to make sure you could unfold the curtain easily? Just a guess , who knows.) Well after it worked for over a month the water spots started to bother me so I sprayed it liberally with bubble foam cleaning foam and let it do its thing, it just dripped and I didn't even have to flush it off. and now i'm really in love lol no more water stains (and we have hard water) to be honest i didn't deduct a star for the smell as it's listed as pvc and it was my fault for not catching it it on -> after reading back and forth the reviews of all applicants, at the end and hastily "pulling the trigger", I overlooked that. BUT I'm glad I did because (1) the indulgence - yes, the indulgence over the shower curtain/film :-) is worth the short exhaust, and (2) if I remembered the clue, ethereal Using oils to clean the air faster really won't have any problems.
