The boots look great. I think they will be warm enough. I was very disappointed to find my toddler's foot didn't fit in the insole. There's a lot of room along her foot, but her calf and foot are so flattened in width that we had to remove the insole to put them on. . Still pretty tight. I think they will still be warm I hope! I don't know if I can go up another size if it doesn't trip over the extra length of the shoe. This is not for babies with calves! For reference I have a 2 year old girl who is 30 pounds. I bought the eighth size even though she has a sixth size foot.
