It is fully waterproof as advertised. My Canon Powershot SD750 ELPH fits exactly into the foam inserts. As iPhone cameras have improved, I've found that my little Canon has been getting less and less use over the past few years. It's a shame as it's such a good camera. I was hoping this corps would get the little guy back on the rotation. Unfortunately, several issues make using this housing with my camera annoying at best and impossible at worst. My complaints: 1) Access to the controls through the plastic is difficult. This makes it painful to turn on and off and accessing features like changing functions like shutter speed almost impossible. 2) I cannot see the viewfinder display underwater. I'm not sure what's going on, but the screen isn't visible through the glasses or mask, so I just point it in the general direction of what I want to photograph and press the button a few times. It's all pretty random. 3) Pictures taken over water can sometimes be slightly clouded and/or distorted by plastic. Not all of the time. Only sometimes. All in all I recommend this box for photography in and around but not under water. Got great shots in the water of my 4 year old boogie boarding and whatnot. If you're looking for a way to snap photos while snorkeling and snorkeling like I did, this may not work for you. I'll just invest in a cheap waterproof camera and ditch this case.
