Bought this tub and immediately threw in a new bar of tub soap. I couldn't wait to shave with him. Excellent foam retention. Easy to hold in hand and I'm not afraid to drop it. I'm a tall guy and most cups look like espresso cups in my hands, but this one is a good size and I can hold it well even when my cup hand is wet from shaving. Stop being weird if you're into wet shaving - give this guy a chance. Now, you might notice that I also have a metal shaving bowl, which I love, but I like having some soaps to mix up the Frankenstein suds when I reach under the blade. The metal from a well known company is a great kit but much smaller than I wanted. The mug here is the size I wanted, so I'll go to it now.
