Glossy case perfect for Apple 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Maintains the laptop's slim profile. I have a Speck Clear case on an old 13" MacBook Pro and it's thicker . I agree with other reviews that this case prevents scratches but probably won't protect against significant damage if the device is dropped. I had a little trouble putting the top on, but I finally got it right and it fits perfectly. There is a cutout on the sides for Thunderbolt USB-C ports. I bought a magnetic charging cable adapter as I loved this feature on my old Macbook Pro. I was only able to use the adapter on the front port because one side of the cutout is at an angle next to the rear ports. If someone is using large footprint cable connectors, this sleeve may not fit. I gave it four stars because the cutout around the ports is limited and it might only be useful to prevent scratches. . Since the laptop rarely travels outside the home, shock protection is not that important to me. It's a sleek, streamlined chassis that maintains the look and feel of a budget MacBook Pro.
