Bought 2 pairs, one broke within a week

Wanted garden clogs that keep feet clean but are easy to put on and take off. Bought a pair for me and my boyfriend. The strap came loose on one side a few days after receiving it. Didn't come back because he said he didn't actually need a strap but now I'm worried about mine.
