I often have to locate unfamiliar places in unfamiliar cities, resulting in a rather tedious process of driving with one hand and reading directions from a notepad AND one card with the other. When I needed to use reading glasses around objects about 2 years ago, the process became a lot more difficult, and Clic Adjustables (clear frame) actually solved that problem with one hand: they're comfortable on my neck when I need them, stay in place they connect while I drive and they sit on the tip of my nose so I can see clearly just by looking up. As for other uses, I have a few complaints: if I don't sit down, the magnets won't stay together. I like to read in bed, but these glasses make it impossible for me. When I'm on my stomach or side they come loose, when I'm on my back the back strap is very uncomfortably pressed against the back of my head (and they're not the most comfortable of seats). I buy another pair? If I stayed in my current job I would definitely buy one of the two especially the Clic - Tortoise reading glasses. As I move to a less parapathic career, the answer becomes much more uncertain. I might have tried the standard size CliC Adjustable Front Connect Universal Sports Glasses with black frames and blue lenses if they cost less, fit better and are more comfortable. They're certainly something to talk about, and while I didn't find them attractive, I've been told they are attractive. That's a great idea, just needs a bit of work with them. UPDATE: July 16, 2012: I mentioned that I might not want a partner if I change jobs. Well, yes, and those glasses were more valuable than ever. I recently accepted a job as a military contractor and the nature of the job has highlighted the true value of this project - for anyone doing what appears to be a soldier's job, it is priceless. Unfortunately I've used them for years and many, many miles and new work have taken a terrible toll on these glasses and eventually destroyed them. So, will I be a substitute for a couple? I will buy several copies of different types.
