I have about 60 20 year old cassettes that I wanted to take apart and decide what to keep. They contained songs recorded live, many of which were never released. The recorder was good value, arrived quickly and appeared to be in great condition. After listening to one cassette for about 30 minutes, I put on the next one but there was no sound. I immediately put in the 1st cassette and THIS one had no sound. Frustrated, I left it for a few days thinking I wasted my money. On day 3 I tried again and it worked. I spent several hours a day for two days looking through the tapes with no problems. At the end of the second day I put in the next cassette and again no sound. Since I've been so successful so far, I assumed the cassette was empty and tried another. silent. I re-inserted the ones I've already heard, and nothing. I would give one star but I've seen about half of my feeds. It must have taken longer than 2 days!
