Review on MERIWOOL Layer Merino Thermal Pants Outdoor Recreation by Terence Dardant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work great! I can't stop wearing them and they still don't smell.

Meriwool is great! Ideal for multi-day hikes or hikes, it's not just long underwear or "long johns". I wear them alone and sometimes with boxer shorts. I use them as a base layer and also wear shorts over them. They are very warm in the cold and not that hot when the sun comes out. The first pair I bought I wore without a shower for a few days and put them aside. A few days later, after I showered, they still smelled like new, so I put them on for a few more days without showering. Merino wool does exactly what it's supposed to. I also have panties from this company.

Pros
  • Water Wicking and Odor Resistance: Merino wool's natural properties wick moisture and resist odor, keeping you dry and comfortable during cold-weather activities. Due to its ability to transport moisture, merino wool is the most breathable fabric and absorbs moisture better than any other fiber. Moisture wicking is the ability of a fabric to wick moisture away from the body and provide comfort.
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
